In the article, Steve describes his Web site as "a forum through which Koreans may convey their messages about Dokdo to the world." However, Steve's site is not a "forum." Google Dictionary defines "forum" as follows:
A forum is a place, situation, or group in which people exchange ideasThere is no discussion or exchange of ideas on Steve's site, and he does not seem interested in conveying truth. Steve's site has no discussion forums, which would give people an opportunity to refute his silly claims. It is just a Dokdo propaganda site operated by a man who used to go around to different Web sites promoting Korea's Dokdo claims using multiple, anonymous IDs until his identity was finally exposed.
and discuss issues, especially important public issues.

I thought he was gone because I haven't heard of him lately. Is he still claiming the same ridiculous thought? No progress....

ReplyDeleteThat is a total lie. (Well, most of the aritcle on him is a lie anyway.) When 慶尚北道 government officer made contact with him through e-mail, since there are nowhere to comment on his so-called "forum", he was in seventh heaven and reported it to us. But apparently from this article, Korean government gave up on him after they realized that this guy is not that useful since he thinks Usando in 1711 map is Jukdo and the one of the 5 fuzzy circles on south is Dokdo/Takeshima.
This is what he said on occidentalism last November.
"The map you see above was the infamous chart used by Gerry Bevers to say Usando was Jukdo Islet. This chart was based heavily on the Ulleung Sa-Jeok by Jang Han Sang which was written about 15 years before Inspector Pak Seok Chang’s map that I linked to you from above.
